SARUM ORIENTEERING CLUB
Sarum Orienteering Club is based in South and West Wiltshire. We welcome people of all ages and abilities. We have about 130 members, two thirds of those are families with children ranging in age from 2-20 years old.
We pride ourselves on being a family friendly club, providing training for those new to orienteering and holding a variety of events which will help develop skills and greater interest in our sport.
For established orienteers, we compete in competitions nationwide, providing opportunities for competitors of all ages and abilities to run in relays, compete for national trophies and improve their national rankings.
For those interested in the wider skills associated with our sport, we hold our own events where you can organise, plan or control events. We fund training courses for our coaches and first aiders and support our new mappers, planners and controllers in achieving their qualifications.
We also have an active social calendar and regular training events for both seniors and juniors.
We are affiliated to the British Orienteering Federation (BOF) and the South West Orienteering Association (SWOA). We have recently been awarded Club Mark Status.
